If you would, allow me introduce you to my new friend. We met this weekend and have been inseparable ever since! For now, let's call him Tom, after Tom Binns, the oh-so-fabulous jewelry designer currently favored by our first lady and other fashionistas. I was lucky enough to find this cuff (from the designer's Faux Real collection) over the weekend, and for a tremendous discount I assure you. It is seriously the prettiest, most exquisite thing ever! For magpies like myself, Binns' work is the ultimate in statement-making jewelry. If you have never perused his collections, do so here and and do it immediately!
This weekend also brought the realization that I completely overlooked Peacock Feathers' first anniversary! I can't believe it, but on March 3 we turned 1 year old! It has been such an amazing year. I started out having no idea what to post about or whether anyone beyond myself would be interested in what I had to share. But as the days went by I gained more confidence as well as a wonderful group of readers (many of whom have their own inspiring blogs) who are incredibly stylish and fun, and who always have something kind and encouraging to say. Starting Peacock Feathers is definitely one of the best things I've ever done, and I can't wait to see what comes in its second year!
