So today, my friend sent me a forwarded text message. I usually hate getting these, since they usually consist of "do this if you love Jesus" and "if you don't forward this to 100 people your mom will die!", and all my friends know this, and since she still sent it to me, I dubbed it as important enough to open.
And I'm quite glad I did. To some of you, it might seem cheesy, and it kind of is. However it kind of changed my perspective on some relationships. Well, all of mine, really, especially my last one where he cheated on me with a freshman whore ('scuse the french, but it's true!).
This is what it said :
" Women are like the apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The men don't want to reach for the good ones, because they're afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them when in reality they are amazing. They have to wait for the right guy to come along, one who is brave enough to climb to the top of the tree. "
This I think would mostly go for people who were used a lot and/or cheated on. I don't really know what else to say, since the quote really says it all and is quite clear, and I'm a horrible personal-blogger lol
Either way, this little quote made me feel a lot better about myself, because I was sure I was cursed with relationships. But maybe I just haven't found the right Apple Picker ♥
